The wool is naturally curly, but its structure can vary in density, curl, and colour, making each sheepskin unique. Proper care significantly extends the lifespan of your sheepskin furniture. Take care of your sheepskin furniture

Avoid placing the sheepskin furniture in direct sunlight, as there is a risk of colour changes in the wool. Vacuum your sheepskin furniture every week. While regular vacuuming removes loose dirt and dust, grease can remain in the wool and, over time, cause matting. Is it safe to wash sheepskin in a washing machine?

Can sheepskin be exposed to sunlight?

Our sheepskins are regularly tested to ensure a very high level of colour fastness. However, there is still a risk of colour changes if the products are placed in direct sunlight. We therefore recommend avoiding direct sunlight exposure.

How do I dry a wet sheepskin?

Lay the sheepskin flat to dry on a drying rack or a table. It is important to gently stretch and pull the hide during the drying process — this helps the leather regain its elasticity and softness.
