Care Instructions
Sheepskin is a natural material of the highest quality. Originally intended to protect, warm, and preserve. It is in its essence a highly durable material. The wool is naturally curly, but its structure can vary in density, curl, and colour, making each sheepskin unique. Proper care significantly extends the lifespan of your sheepskin furniture. No special knowledge or great effort is required— regular maintenance is the key. Below you can find videos showing how to take care of your sheepskin products. If you have any questions, don´t hesitate to contact us.
Care Instructions sheepskin furniture
Take care of your sheepskin furniture
Avoid placing the sheepskin furniture in direct sunlight, as there is a risk of colour changes in the wool. Vacuum your sheepskin furniture every week. Use a nozzle designed for upholstery or textiles. Vacuuming prevents dirt from settling deep into the sheepskin and causing wear on the wool. See the video for detailed advice.
Stain removal, sheepskin furniture
When accidents occur, act immediately and soak the stain with lukewarm water. For tough stains, continue cleaning with a wool shampoo. See the video for detailed advice.
Deep clean, sheepskin furniture
While regular vacuuming removes loose dirt and dust, grease can remain in the wool and, over time, cause matting. When matting occurs, the sheepskin can be deep-cleaned using an upholstery or carpet cleaner. This should be done as needed, especially on high-wear areas. See video for detailed advice.
